Safety Wireless Networking & Repeater Function

Connect up to 16 Safety Simplifier via safety wireless communication. With the standardly implemented repeater function, you achieve optimal process safety. Each Safety Simplifier shares all available safety information with any other Safety Simplifier within its range. Two modules communicate over a distance of up to 100 meters. For longer distances or unfavorable environmental conditions, additional Safety Simplifiers can be used as repeaters.

Safety CAN-Networking

Connect up to 16 Safety Simplifier via safety CAN communication. Each individual Safety Simplifier in the system has access to all the safety information of the other participants. The cable length of up to 250 meters allows for use even in large systems with greater distances. Flexibly combine secure wireless and CAN networking to reduce your wiring and commissioning effort. The advantages of each communication method are also available in a combined network. Wherever a process-safe wireless connection is not possible, connect the Safety Simplifiers via the CAN line. In a system of 16 Safety Simplifiers, you can freely choose which units communicate via CAN or Wireless.

High Range
