Server racks, network infrastructure and storage systems form the backbone of every IT environment. Unauthorised access, unclear responsibilities or insufficient separation between maintenance and restricted areas can pose significant risks. SSP's safety fence system creates clearly defined, controlled-access zones to protect your critical infrastructure.
Whether in a traditional data centre, an on-premises server room, a colocation environment or a technical infrastructure area, every environment comes with its own requirements for access control, maintenance zones and available space. That's why you need solutions that adapt to existing structures while also accommodating future expansion.
Create clearly defined zones for servers, network infrastructure and technical equipment. The safety fence systems can be customised to existing room layouts and extended whenever required.
Separate sensitive infrastructure areas and establish clearly defined access and maintenance zones throughout your data centre environment.
Create dedicated areas within shared infrastructure environments and adapt them flexibly as requirements change.
For network equipment, storage systems and other critical infrastructure components alike, customised protection zones provide structure and support reliable operations.
New server racks, additional infrastructure and changing requirements are part of everyday operations in many data centres. That's why protection zones should not only meet current needs but also accommodate future expansion.
The modular safety fence system from SSP helps operators create clearly structured, controlled-access areas for sensitive infrastructure, regardless of the size or layout of the available space.
The safety fence systems are customised to the specific site requirements and can be integrated flexibly into existing infrastructure. A wide range of mesh panels, colours and custom dimensions enables solutions that blend seamlessly into the surrounding environment.
The modular design also makes simple modifications and future expansion possible in response to changing requirements, site alterations or increased capacity. This creates protection zones for server racks, network infrastructure, storage systems and other technical equipment that remain fit for purpose over the long term and can adapt as requirements evolve.
Flex-Line is the most versatile model within the SSP system family. Thanks to a wide range of mesh panel options and virtually unlimited layout flexibility, it can be tailored precisely to irregular floor plans, columns, corners and angled structures.
Whether it’s openings for cable trays and cooling lines, angled elements on ceiling structures or openings in unusual locations, Flex-Line can be adapted to virtually any structural requirement and is fully compatible with all other components of the SSP safety fence system.

The anodised aluminium profiles combine high stability with low weight, making transportation and on-site installation quick and straightforward.
The Fast-Connect connection technology eliminates the need for drilling into existing walls or ceilings. This reduces dust, noise and vibration near sensitive equipment and keeps installation straightforward even in live operating environments.
Dedicated access zones for servicing and maintenance activities can be integrated directly into the protection concept. This allows specific areas to be accessed in a controlled manner without modifying existing structures, supporting clear processes and efficient infrastructure management.
SSP keeps its safety fence system range available for many years. Individual components can be reordered long after the initial installation, allowing existing protection zones to be expanded without replacing the entire system.
As data centres grow and requirements evolve, protection zones often need to be adjusted. The modular SSP safety fence system is designed to accommodate these changes, enabling simple modifications and future expansion without replacing the existing installation.
The following examples demonstrate how two typical system components support this flexibility in practice.
Not every requirement can be anticipated during the initial planning phase. For retrofitted additions such as mounting brackets, signage or sensors, SSP offers a dedicated construction profile that can be mounted directly in front of existing mesh panels.
This allows mounting plates, shelves and other structural elements to be added flexibly without making fundamental changes to the safety fence structure. The result is a solution that can be adapted to the specific requirements of the infrastructure in question.

Cable management can also be integrated directly into the safety fence structure.
Matching cable ducts enable clean and organised cable routing along the protected area. This keeps future extensions easy to manage and ensures technical installations remain clearly structured and easy to maintain.

Expandability, adaptability and customised solutions do not happen by chance. They are the result of a safety fence system designed from the outset to meet a wide range of requirements.
SSP safety fence systems combine a modular aluminium system design with a variety of mesh panel options and custom dimensions. This creates solutions that can be tailored precisely to the available space while remaining flexible enough to accommodate future changes and expansion.
The foundation of the system consists of high-quality anodised aluminium profiles measuring 44 × 44 mm with continuous slot geometry. They combine high stability with low weight and form the supporting framework of every protection zone.
Technical infrastructure rarely follows a standard layout. That's why protection zones can be tailored to existing room structures, technical areas and specific project requirements.
A range of infill options is available to suit different requirements, including mesh, polycarbonate, sheet metal and glass panels. This allows each protection zone to be adapted precisely to its functional and spatial requirements.
Fast-Connect slot nuts automatically position themselves within the profile slot when tightened. Combined with L, T and I connectors, the aluminium profiles can be joined securely without drilling or tapping.
Our design engineers support you from the initial concept through to the finished installation. Drawing on many years of experience in machine safety and industrial safeguarding, they develop protection zones that are tailored to the specific conditions of your site.
Every data centre environment has its own requirements for protection zones, access points and future expansion. That's why every SSP project begins with a detailed assessment of the existing infrastructure and operational requirements.
Working closely with you, we develop a solution that integrates seamlessly into existing structures, accommodates future developments and remains fit for purpose over the long term.
Rather than focusing solely on individual fence elements, we consider the entire infrastructure, including access points, maintenance areas and future expansion opportunities. The result is a concept tailored to your actual operating environment, instead of a standard solution forced onto your facility.
Together, we review your infrastructure, requirements and site conditions to establish the foundation for the project.
Depending on the project, the assessment is carried out either via web meeting or directly on site. If required, we can also take all the necessary measurements for you.
Our engineering team develops a customised solution and creates a detailed 3D design.
Once the design is approved, production planning and manufacturing begin.
The pre-assembled components are delivered and can be installed quickly and efficiently. If required, we also provide on-site support.
Even after project completion, we continue to support extensions, modifications and adaptations of existing protection zones.
